Our team member Mr. Shashank Sharma visiting Amritsar recently and clicked this picture of the most holiest Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) of India where Guru Nanak Dev Ji laid the foundation of this philanthropic religion in 17th century.

Golden Temple is the holiest abode of Sikhs all over the world. The Golden temple is also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib. This beautiful temple built by the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev, in the 16th Century, is a place of great beauty and sublime peacefulness. The temple has served as a meditation retreat for gurus and wandering mendicants since ancient times. This temple has a unique Sikh architecture. The central part of the temple is situated in the middle of the sarovar and is fully covered with gold. Echoing across the serene lake, the beautiful music of the hymns accompanied by flutes, drums and other stringed instruments spread unique calmness and serenity in the air.
