Royal Orchid Hotels launches 3rd hotel in Mysore – Regenta Central Herald

Royal Orchid Hotels Limited, announced the launch of its third hotel in Mysore with Regenta Central Herald. With this launch, the Royal Orchid chain of hotels stands at 43 hotels in 28 different cities in India and is all set to add five more hotels to its portfolio in the coming months.

The property is located on Nelson Mandela Road, Bannimantap in Mysore which is approximately just 4 kms from Mysore Railway Station. The hotel offers 70 well-appointed spacious rooms, fitness centre, mini bar and a multi cuisine restaurant. Lonely Planet, at the 6th Lonely Planet India Travel Awards 2017 organised in Mumbai, recognised the top destinations and their respective contributions to global travel.

AccorHotels announces opening of first Novotel in Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow

AccorHotels opened first Novotel property in Uttar Pradesh's at Lucknow. Novotel Lucknow Gomti Nagar is strategically located in the heart of the city's commercial hub – Gomti Nagar, a short drive from Lucknow airport and railway station.

Designed by the renowned Mumbai-based architect, Ahmed Shaikh of Ahmed and Associates, the hotel features 106 well-appointed rooms, including two suites, all equipped with modern in-room amenities, plush interiors and high speed Wi-Fi connectivity.

Segway Scooters for Tourists at Amer, Nahargarh

The state archaeological department has inked an agreement with a private firm, which will provide the paid scooter service to tourists at Amer, Nahargarh in Rajasthan.

The scooter service will initially be started at Jaleb Chowk in Amer and Nahargarh fort, and the company will charge 200 for a ride, a tourism official said.

The ride will be available between 11am and 3.30pm when the elephant ride is not there, and after 5pm. The trial of the scooters was undertaken in December last year.
